Hope Church goes above and beyond each year in our serving and generosity through our annual Hope Gift Offering. This year’s goal is $45,000. These funds are used annually to support the vision of Hope Church and our Hope Outreach Partners. A percentage of every dollar given to Hope Church is used monthly to support our local outreach partners. Every year, we commit a portion of our Gift Offering to go over and beyond in our generosity. This year we are committing to giving away 25% of our Hope Gift Offering goal.

This is how our Hope Gift Offerings funds will be allocated this year:

  • 100 families will be given clean-water filtration systems through our International Outreach Partner, Second Chance Global. These filtration systems will provide clean water to these families and families throughout their communities. We can literally provide clean water to hundreds of people, and ultimately they will hear about the hope of Jesus!

  • We will continue to financially resource and support our Hope Outreach Partners locally, nationally, and internationally.

  • We will remodel our Hope Church balcony with new flooring, paint, banisters, etc.

  • We will begin collecting our Hope Gift Offering on Sunday, December 5th, but you can give anytime below. Please make sure to select “Hope Gift Offering” in the drop-down menu.

Local - The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree

Through our local partnership with The Salvation Army, Hope Church will be sponsoring 300 angels this year. Each angel represents a child that will have a Christmas because of our generosity.

There are two ways for you to get an Angel this year.

1. Sunday, Nov 13th, you can select a child from the physical Angel Tree at the Burlington or Mebane Hope Church location anytime during the morning worship services.

2. Sunday, Nov 13th, you can sponsor a child online by clicking the button that says, “Sponsor an Angel Online”.

From this webpage, you can sort the list by gender and age and then select a specific child. We are excited to offer this new option this year; it could not have come at a better time!

A few important reminders:

  • All items must be unwrapped, new, and unused.

  • All items (or bags that contain them) must be labeled with the child’s code number.

  • All items must be returned to Hope Church by December 4th.

  • If you have any questions, please email angeltree@hopechurchnc.com.

National - cITY ON A hill Church, sOMERVILLE, ma

Hope Church continues to financially support our national church partner in Somerville, MA, led by Pastor Fletcher Lang. This year, we want to once again show extreme generosity to our national partner and be part of helping City on a Hill Church continue to fulfill its mission and vision. City On A Hill is now also helping to resource a new church plant in Florida. We are so excited to give through City On A Hill Church as they advance God’s mission for His church across our nation.

International - Second Chance Global

In Haiti the majority of children in orphanages today are poverty orphans. Poverty orphans are children who have living parents or family members but they are orphaned due to their family living in extreme poverty. Parents or guardians in Haiti will take their children to orphanages or abandon them in a community close to an orphanage believing that the child will live a better life. We want to change that narrative and break the cycle.

The Family Empowerment Program is a proven short term initiative, lasting three years, with a lifetime impact on their realities. We believe this Program can help each family thrive in their community and have a ripple effect outward in the communities. Family empowerment is more than a program, it is restoring broken families and orphan prevention.
