Tight Fisted | Week 4

So much of our lives are based on what we can acquire, accumulate, and build with our hands. As a result, our natural tendency is to keep it all that we have amassed clinched tightly within our fists. And as we tighten the grip in our hands, it ultimately leads to a heart that is just as tightly clenched. And when our hearts and hands are closed, nothing else gets in, and nothing can get out.

But what if God intended for us to live with an open hand and not a closed fist? And what if an open hand led to an open heart? What could God bless you with, and how could your life be a blessing to others?

When you choose to live with an open hand and an open heart, you start to change—and so does the world around you.
